Ecobio, a corporate sustainability company, is looking for a UI/UX developer to join our SaaS development team. We are seeking someone passionate about creating excellent user experiences and leveraging AI as part of modern software solutions.

In this role, you will develop user interfaces, component libraries, and AI-assisted features for sustainability software used internationally.

What you will do

• Design and implement user interfaces for our SaaS solution: Ecobio Manager

• Develop and maintain a component library / design system

• Build smooth user journeys and excellent user experiences

• Implement modern frontend development (TypeScript, HTML, CSS)

• Participate in leveraging AI in user interfaces and application logic

• Work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders

You develop versatile user interface solutions

You build and maintain modern frontend solutions for our SaaS application. The goal is a scalable and high-performance UI that works smoothly across different browsers and use cases.

You bring new ideas and leverage AI-based tools

We value curiosity and new ideas – especially in utilizing AI/LLM integrations and modern frontend frameworks.

You care about code quality

You use testing frameworks and automation to help ensure high code quality.

You actively participate in code reviews

Code review practices and open discussion are an important part of our team culture.

• Strong hands-on React frontend development skills

• Experience developing UI layers (HTML, CSS, React/TypeScript)

• Solid programming fundamentals and understanding of C#-based applications

• Understanding of good UI/UX design and user journeys

• Interest or experience in using AI in software development

• Structured way of working and good teamwork skills

• Enthusiasm for innovating new solutions and an eye for service design

Additional skills we appreciate

• Knowledge of Azure services

• Experience with AI platforms such as

  • Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry, Azure AI Document Intelligence

• Experience with development tools such as

  • Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, Docker / container platforms

• Insight into how AI can improve user experience in SaaS applications

• Familiarity with legacy technologies such as

  • Aurelia, MVC, Razor

• Good English language skills, Finnish and other Nordic languages as a plus
